Los Gigantes is a large village in South West tenerife, which because of it's situation, is probably the finest place in Tenerife or even the Canaries. Unlike other resorts, it has not yet been spoilt by noise and tourism, although there are ample shops, supermarkets and about 10 very good restaurants. The village is located in a natural bowl between the giant cliffs (Los Gigantes) and the surrounding hills. The natural shelter gives the finest climate in tenerife and it has been noted that it remains beautifully warm and sunny, whilst it is sometimes wet and cold in the North of the Island.
