Situated in an ancient courtyard/garden, facing south, on the second floor,the 'etage noble," is a one bedroom apartment, 40 meters square, with a genteel layout and fittings appropriate to the good life.It is our Paris home and is therefore equipped with sterling flatware and serving dishes, chrystal goblets and candelabra, orientals and antiques.We also have Cable TV, a small but decent library, and a great collection of CD's including classical and jazz, etc.

You enter by the hall where there are built-in closets and drawers sufficient to
ones' needs and a lavatory off of it.Through a second door you enter the main part of the apartment with a kitchen on the right, looking out to the south facing courtyard/garden and the salon/salle a manger.There is a daybed covered in green silk with straw colored gimp to match the lined drapes beside the hearth, good for one person to sleep on or for two to cozy up on.The beams, the hand made doors, hinges and latches, the built-in bookcases and cabinets in oak contribute to the atmosphere in this delightful pied-a-terre in the rue Domat, Paris 75005,situated in the very heart of the Latin Quarter.
It is quiet inside, good for reading or listening to music,watching a film, or any other activity essential to the good life. The bathroom is large and has in it a stand-up shower with curtain in the tub.

 | Both sink and tub have oak cabinetry in keeping with the rest of the apartment.The bedroom is small and has in it a double bed with brass bedstead, two side tables with lamps, a marble topped comode on which sits the tv that can also be turned toward the salon. The dining room furniture is Louix XV.
There is a writing table and two bergere chairs, chests, all of which are of a scale to work well in such an atmosphere.
