 | Damian & Steve welcome you to La Mare Palu their 18th Century farmhouse set in the heart of the regional Park of Cotentin and Bessin Marshes.
We have lovingly restored the building which boasts large double bedrooms with private shower rooms.
We provide B&B, evening meals and pamper treatments. Set on the outskirts of a small village called Meautis we are 45 minutes from Cherbourg ferry and an hour from Caen Ferry port.

Each of the newly refurbished bedrooms is a large size with double bed and unusually each room has its own private shower room. Tastefully decorated to a high standard.
Damian is a fully qualified complementary therapist and is trained in Swedish massage, Hopi ear candle, Indian head massage and Reflexology. You can enjoy a pamper treatment whilst staying at our Chambre d'hote or why not book the farmhouse with friends for a relaxing pamper group break.  | Five minutes drive away is the small town of Carentan with its weekly market and Notre Dame church next to the pleasure port. Utah beach is only twenty minutes away surrounded by D Day landing museums and historical landmarks.
There are plenty of places to visit including St Mont Michael abbey the Medieval jewel of Normandy and the Bayeux tapestry as well as many activities such as horse riding, cycling, golf and fishing etc.
