 | L'Oratoire is a large, newly converted and furnished farmhouse situated in the Calvados area of Normandy, near the town of Aunay-sur-Odon which provides a full range of commercial facilities. It is in a secluded and peaceful environment and is ideal for groups of friends or several generations holidays. The adjoining but independent gite can be rented with l'Oratoire thus providing accommodation for 28 people or separately. There are many places of interest within easy driving distance: Bayeux, Mont-Saint-Michel, etc. Many activities are offered at the nearby Viaduc de la Souleuvre, but not for the faint-hearted. There you can try bungy jumping, scabling and 'walking at the top of the trees' |

 | The house has 4 showers: 1 en suite to the double bedroom. The other 3 are separate cubicles in a large bathroom. The four bedrooms sleeping 4 in each have bunk beds and two of the bedrooms have an extra single bed. The linen is provided only for the beds and these are made ready by the housekeeper. Guests need to bring their own towels. During the winter season, logs are provided. |
