 | The Château de Labaurie sits overlooking the market town of Chalais and is the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday in rural France.
Originating from the middle ages it is steeped in history.
The buildings dominate the hill where it stands giving it a privileged view of the valley of the River Tude, deep in the heart of the French countryside.
It was rebuilt to its present state sometime in 1649 by a family called Les Nicolas de Lamballerie, a name borne by a great number of noble families originating in Italy or Spain. |
