 | Our 4**** "Hotel Schwarzer Adler" - in English "The Black Eagle Hotel" - is situated in the quiet centre of the old garrison town of Sterzing / Vipiteno, once used by the Roman legions prior to crossing the Alps. It is a family institution, built around 1460 and now being run in the 4th generation.
The most important thing for us is to carry on the old traditions of our house, combining good food and drink with the well-being of all our guests. |

 | Let us spoil you with specialities provided by our kitchen. We are renowned for our delicious cuisine and excellent service.
Daily, our A la carte-menu offers changing local and Italian cuisine as well as a choice of complete three- or four-course dinners which will enchant you.
Our restaurant is only open in the evenings for dinner. However and on prior reservation, we can provide lunch for groups of 25 and more guests.
Guests not staying in the hotel should if possible reserve a table in advance; hotel guests have a full choice of everything offered in the Restaurant.
In addition you are very welcome to visit our small "Cellar Bar", used by our local guests, renovated in 1994 and containing the well-known fresco "Stelzinger Moos" painted by Albert Stolz in 1938. |
