 | The house and substantial summerhouse are in the village of Casatico in the Garfangana National Park in northern Tuscany. There are spectacular views from the gardens over the surrounding valleys. The house is on 3 floors, the terraced garden leads to a substantial summerhouse under the trees.
The village is tiny and there are no cars so safe for children, there is a village shop selling most things and an excellent restaurant serving Traditional Tuscan cuisine at very reasonable prices. The main towns of Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Genoa, Cinque Terre and the coast are within 1-3 hours driving or accessible by train. There are 3 swimming pools nearby, there is also horse trekking and walking from the village. |
The house is on 3 floors ground floor entrance/dining room with open fireplace, galley kitchen with electric oven gas hob, large fridge/freezer, electric kettle, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Hot water and heating is by natural gas with a boiler situated under the house along with the washing machine. Newly fitted bathroom with bidet bath and shower toilet and washbasin.

Small sitting area with open fire, leading to sitting/dining room with sofa TV table and chairs.
Top floor:
Two double bedrooms 1 with double bed and 1 with 2 single beds a small landing leads out on to a terrace and patio with garden furniture. The garden is a series of terraces leading up to a whitewashed summerhouse under the trees comprising living room, open fire, pizza oven, kitchenette, dining furniture etc.
