The distance from Auckland central to the Bay of Islands by road is 240km (150 miles) and takes about 3.15hrs by car. Stay on highway one until you get to Kawakawa and then highway 11. Kawakawa to Paihia, Bay of Islands is approximately 8 miles or 14km.
Strawberry Fields can be found on the left side of Seaview Road as you drive up the hill at the end of Te Haumi Beach, heading into Paihia. You'll see our sign!
