Location
Praia da Luz is 90 kilometres (56 miles) from Faro airport. Ideally you need a car to enjoy the area, and you can hire a car at Faro from around £100 a week. With the completion of the A22 Algarve motorway, the journey from Faro to Luz now takes less than an hour. Regular trains run along the coast from Faro to Lagos, and it is a 15 minute taxi ride from Lagos station.
