Location
Bukela Game Lodge is situated in the Amakhala Game Reserve which consists of an area of just under 6000 ha of acacia grassland and Eastern Cape valley-bushveld, approximately 10kms in-land from the Indian Ocean. Situated off a main route (N2) the reserve is within convenient distance from a national airport (Port Elizabeth) and is one of the first destinations on "The Game Route". Amakhala Game Reserve is flanked on the north by Shamwari with Bayethe Game Reserve situated 20 kms north-east.
