 | Built in 1845, "Ardeen" is a period country home situated in its own grounds on the edge of the town of Ramelton overlooking Lough Swilly.
After a care-free day exploring the many attractions of Donegal, the visitor, on returning to "Ardeen", can take a walk in the garden, play a game of tennis or a stroll into the nearby town to a sample the local restaurants and friendly pubs. |
There are five attractively decorated bedrooms, four of which are en-suite and all have varying views of Lough Swilly and the Donegal Hills. Both the drawing room and dining room are furnished with antiques and have open fires which help create a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere, making any visitor feel instantly at home.
All Breakfasts are prepared from fresh local produce.

 | Recently renovated stables, furnished in traditional style with stone walls, wooden beams, and a large open fire make up the very cosy self-catering unit, "The Cottage".
Standing adjacent to "Ardeen", and sharing the same outlook and grounds, the ground floor contains one double bedroom with bath and shower, sitting room, kitchen/dining room, conservatory and utility room.
Upstairs consists of a double bedroom, one family room with double and single, a shower room and hotpress. Central heating is provided throughout. Rent includes gas for cooking and all necessary linen, cutlery, crockery and kitchen equipment. |
