Rathmullan woods to one side and miles of beach to the other. Ten minutes walk from the picturesque village of Rathmullan and all the local amenities. Minutes by car to Otway Golf Club, the oldest golf club in Ireland.
The cottage overlooks Portnamurray Bay where history was made by the Flight of the Earls in September 1607. Having been defeated the O'Neill and O'Donnell chieftains, the most powerful leaders in Ireland at that time, fled the country for Spain. Beside the harbour is the Flight of the Earls' Heritage Centre which is open to visitors. During the summer months, there are guided tours of Rathmullan village.
There is also a ferry service from Rathmullan to Buncrana operating from May until late September. |  |
 | There are two double beds and bunk beds (single and double). The cottage comfortably sleeps 6-7 people. Pets are welcome.
Booking deposit (non-refundable) of €100 per week with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
Linen, electricity and heating are included in the price. Guests may arrive any time after 4pm and vacate by 12 noon on day of departure. |
