 | Welcome. My name is Terri Walsh and I am the proprietor of the Old Forge
Bed & Breakfast, which is situated four miles outside of Ashbourne off the N2.
The house is delightful with a log fire in the breakfast room, open-beamed ceilings and lovely designed bedrooms, each in their own style.
The house is set on three acres with lovely countryside for walkers.

The Old Forge has three double rooms and one family room, which accommodates two adults and three children and also doubles as a disabled facility.
All rooms have hair dryers.
Food & Beverage
The Old Forge offers a good selection of breakfast from our breakfast menu.
Trained Chef for Breakfasts and Evening Meals.
Vegetarian and special dishes can be catered for if arranged prior to booking.
Breakfast is served between 7.30 a.m. until 11.30 a.m., if you need to order an early breakfast please book in advance. Evening meals must also be booked in advance.

The Old Forge’s local pub “The Snailbox” is two minutes from the house, the “Snailbox” runs a shuttle bus home.
The Old Forge can arrange pick-ups to local area in the evening.

Infant Facilities: Cot, Bedding, High Chair, Baby Cups and bottle steaming.
