Glencoul House is a traditional Victorian stone farmhouse set in attractive landscaped gardens with fine views of the Grampians, located near the A90, but far enough away to offer peace and quiet in a rural setting.
Guests are made to feel at home in this non-smoking centrally heated house, which retains most of its original features such as an open fire in the guest lounge. This is somewhere to relax and unwind after a busy day's sightseeing or business.
Its position on the B957 offers a central location for touring the Angus Glens, Glamis Castle, Dundee the City of Discovery, the very attractive Angus and Fife coasts, RSPB and Scottish Wildlife reserves, Carnoustie and St Andrews. For the more energetic there are numerous golf courses within easy reach. The River South Esk is nearby for fishing enthusiasts and there are game shoots, plenty of local walks and quiet roads for cycling.
High quality home cooked evening meals, using local produce whenever possible, are available by prior arrangement.
