 | Steeped in history, this idyllic location is an excellent resort from which to explore the surrounding countryside and its many attractions. The Clan Campbell stronghold of Kilchurn Castle stands at the north eastern end of Loch Awe. The location of the hotel offers glorious views of the loch and the mighty Ben Cruachan.
The Hotel has a mixture of family, double and twin rooms, all with pleasant outlooks and en-suite facilities. But for that special moment why not reserve one of our loch view rooms which are available for a reasonable supplementary charge. Our guest lounge is a comfortable and cosy area where you can browse through our library, sit and play board games or just relax in front of the fire. This room is steeped in history and has ambience that must be experienced for you to understand the very special place in history this hotel enjoys. Occasionally throughout the day guests will be able to experience the joys of the pipes. |
The Cruachan Restaurant. A stunning place to eat providing modern Scottish cuisine prepared from local produce and presented with style so as to compliment this amazing room overlooking the Loch. A full wine cellar is available covering most tastes but again if you have a personal preference then please tell us and we will ensure it will be available for your enjoyment. If you also have particular dietary needs please inform us and our expert team of Chef’s will be only too pleased to cater for your needs.
The Conservatory Again this stunning room runs down three quarters of the length of the Hotel and not only provides a stunning morning venue for breakfast but also during the day and evening allows visitors the most exquisite location to view the surrounding scenery and soak in the unbelievable sunsets whilst perhaps indulging in a “wee dram” from the extensive selection of malts from our well stocked “Captain’s Bar”. | |
