 | Killean Estate is located at the heart of the Mull of Kintyre, a quiet and secret corner of Scotland, boasting some of the country's most spectacular scenery with its hidden bays and long sandy beaches. Being warmed by the Gulf Stream, the peninsula enjoys a mild climate with very few frosts and offers excellent trout fishing opportunities which are, of course, free with the Killean experience.
There are some excellent golf courses in the area including the challenging championship course at Machrihanish with its famous first tee (The Battry) which invites players to 'drive' over the Atlantic. Argyll and Killean estate offers many opportunities for a wide range of leisure pursuits including sailing, pony trekking, shooting and fishing.

Killean house
The largest property on the estate, with 10 bedrooms it can sleep up to twenty people in seven double rooms and three twin rooms.
The Gate House
Located at the entrance to the estate set back off the road is a lovely 3 bedroom property set in its own garden area.
The Dolls houses
Grade 'A' listed buildings situated at the entrance to the estate. there are three properties available to hire each furnished to the same high standard with new fitted kitchens and bathrooms.
Villa House
A substantial late Georgian house with fantastic views out across the 'Sound of Gigha' to the Hebrides from most of the spacious rooms.
Garden House
Backing on to the walled garden, the Garden House was created from the only surviving wing of the original Killean House. The two apartments named 'Cara' (ground floor) and 'Gigha' (first floor) offer fantastic spacious accommodation.
