The spacious two bedroom cottage will sleep up to six people with a large well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The bright and airy lounge complete with TV is comfortably furnished, centrally heated and is pleasantly decorated. The cottage is located in a quiet private courtyard with adjoining garage and is literally a few minutes walk from the harbour, Anstruther town centre, local shops, restaurants and pubs not to mention the most famous "chippy" in Scotland. |
In addition, there are coastal walks, boat trips to the nearby historical Isle of May also famous for its wild life and is an important and much studied bird sanctuary. Anstruther is also home to The Scottish Fisheries Museum as well as a touring centre for the East Neuk of Fife. Steeped in history the area has much to offer the golfer or tourist. There are numerous championship golf courses within a twenty minute drive including the world famous town of St Andrews .The nearby picturesque old fishing villages of Pittenweem and Crail are a delight to visit and experience. |
