 | 19 Coast is located in the crofting community of Inverasdale, 5 miles from Poolewe, on the west shore of Loch Ewe in Wester Ross. The house is situated in three-quarters of an acre of natural garden, which is fully fenced, and overlooks Loch Ewe with panoramic views from the mountains of Sutherland to those of Torridon.
The house has been tastefully renovated and extended to provide spacious and very comfortable family accommodation for six and a baby. Many of the traditional features have been retained such as open fireplaces, pine linings and solid beech wood flooring. This was our family home for 8 years, and as our 3 young children demonstrated, there is plenty of space for youngsters to enjoy! |
The accommodation is on two floors with bathrooms and bedrooms on both levels.
Ground floor: Lounge with open fire, double bedroom, kitchen dining/family room, shower room, and utility room.
First floor: Two twin bedrooms, bathroom with traditional deep cast iron bath.
The house has electric total control central heating and is fully double glazed throughout.
Bed linen, duvets, towels and tea towels are provided. A cot and high chair are available on request.
The kitchen has plenty of storage, a 4-ring gas hob, a large combination microwave/conventional oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is a TV, video, CD/cassette radio, and a selection of books and games. There is a telephone for incoming and emergency calls, although mobile reception is excellent.
There is ample parking for several cars.
An initial supply of solid fuel is provided and gas for the hob is included. |  |

Located 80 miles west of Inverness in the heart of Wester Ross, Loch Ewe is the only north-facing loch on the west coast. The area covers many small crofting communities between the villages of Aultbea, 10 miles north, to Gairloch, 9 miles south. 19 Coast is 5 miles along the west shore of Loch Ewe from Poolewe and 1 mile past the centre of Inverasdale village. 1 mile away is the wonderful beach at Firemore.
