Situated on a family croft on the A835 & only 2 miles from the main A9, we are only 10 minutes from the City of Inverness & the Town of Dingwall where there are plenty of amenities including supermarkets, many good local shops, a museum, a library plus a few good dining establishments for your use. After your long journey, stretch your legs by taking a peaceful stroll through the forest which is just a few hundred yards from the house. Use the house as an anchor point to start your site seeing & view the beautiful Falls of Shin in Sutherland or take one of the many trails round the Rogie Falls on the road to Ullapool, where you can spot the red squirrel or the elusive pine martens. Visit the Original Loch Ness Monster Visitors' Centre or take a trip on the loch & admire the breathtaking scenery. From Ullapool, a cruise will let you see the infamous bottle nosed dolphin |
We offer two Bedrooms, the first accommodates a comfortable double bed & looks to the rear of the house over the fields & forest & when you open the large built in wardrobe you will find the TV & a radio for your use. There is loads if shelving & hanging space for all your clothing.
The second accommodates twin beds & is situated to the front of the house. It has a wall mounted TV & a clock/radio alarm. There is ample wardrobe & drawer space.
Both Bedrooms have tea & coffee facilities, fruit, biscuits, sweets & occasional home baking, TV with Freeview and remote controls & a local information pack with interesting sites & attractions in the Highlands to help you plan your stay, a hairdryer & a first aid kit. Warm blankets & extra pillows are supplied within the drawers of each bed if needed.
Non-allergenic & Waterproof bedding is also available on request.

 | There is a vast breakfast menu to choose from including locally made "Gold Award" black pudding & haggis, with self service coffee maker, juices & a selection of cereals all within the beautifully decorated separate dining room.
There is fish, fruit segments or a Continental Breakfast for vegetarians or those who prefer a non fat diet.
For that long trip, a picnic bag with cool box section can be made up, for an additional charge - supply your own wine.
