 | Ruddyyglow Park is ideally suited as a base for exploring the North West coast. We are only 6 miles from Lochinver, less than 40 miles from Ullapool and places like Drumbeg, Kylesku, Handa Island, Durness, Cape Wrath and the far north are all within an easy drive. The house is owned and run by Patricia Filmer-Sankey, a native of the parish of Assynt. Attention to detail, guests' wishes, their comfort and their enjoyment, are the main ingredients that the house runs on.

We currently have three beautifully appointed, non-smoking, ground floor, rooms. Two look out over the garden, Loch Assynt and the mountains beyond and one on to the gardens and foothills of Quinag. The kingsize (master bedroom) is the biggest of the three rooms as it has its own lovely sitting area. All have been decorated in a style where old and new come together, where Sanderson prints contrast with modern interior design. From cool lilac to soft candle white, each room has been specifically created as an oasis of calm.
In order to make every stay as memorable and comfortable as possible we selected the most wonderful, combination, pure goose down duvets, the finest Egyptian cotton bedding, and, put electric blankets on all the beds to help cope with those rare, unexpected, chilly nights. All our beds have anti-allergic orthopaedic mattresses, with a medium to firm support, to give you the best nights sleep of your life.

 | To compliment the luxurious beds, the bathrooms have wonderfully thick, bathrobes and towels, bathroom products, hairdryers and other essential bathroom items. The master bedroom has both a power shower and large Jacuzzi bath and bidet while the private bathroom has a lovely Jacuzzi bath and fantastic power shower.
If you have special requirements please let us know. We will do our very best to fulfil them.
We would always recommend that you have a car up here in order to make the most of your stay however, for those that would prefer not to drive we can arrange to have you met at the airport, taken back here in comfort and then taken back to the airport once your trip is over. |

Location
Leave Inverness and follow the signs for Ullapool (A832 and A835). Go through Ullapool and follow the signs for Lochinver (A835 and A837). After about 29km you will come to a T-Junction (Ledmore Junction), turn left onto the A837 and follow the road for about 17K. Ruddyglow Park is the second entrance on the Left Hand Side.
