Bunrannoch House is an old hunting lodge situated in woodland, on the outskirts of Kinloch Rannoch with some higher level views of Loch Rannoch. The house, on 4 floors, is well known for its warm hospitality and good food. Rannoch is a peaceful haven for those visiting Highland Perthshire with some fine walks on the surrounding hills, and a wealth of relaxing activities within an half-hour drive.

Kinloch Rannoch sits in a picturesque glen in Highland Perthshire, with a wealth of lovely walks in and around Rannoch, Killiecrankie, Glen Tilt, Glen Lyon, and the Sma' Glen within reasonable proximity.

There are a variety of Munros nearby for the serious hill climber - Schiehallion, Ben Glas, Ben Lawers, Ben Vrackie and Ben Alder amongst them - with 'Corbetts', 'Grahams', and Marilyns for the less vertically challenged. Catch a train up to Corrour and walk back via Loch Ossian, or a gentler stroll closer to home.
The house's bedrooms are mostly ensuite, and are situated on the upper floors. the 7 bedrooms are spacious, centrally heated, have fine highland views and offer tea and coffee making facilities. Bunrannoch House is renowned for excellent home cooking and is a very popular place for local people to go for a meal or celebration.

The bedrooms are situated on the second and third floors of the house - which is an old hunting lodge dating from the mid-19th century. There are 5 bedrooms on the second floor, 3 of which are ensuite, the other two sharing an adjacent bathroom

There are 2 large bedrooms on the top floor, both ensuite - one with a bath and hand washbasin, the other with shower and hand washbasin. Both large bedrooms have both a king-size bed and two twin beds.
Afternoon tea is served daily to our resident guests - a delicious tea tray of fresh home baking, enjoyed whilst relaxing in front of a log fire with soft background music. What a treat!

Complimentary pre-dinner drinks are served in the lounge from 7.00pm. Drinks are accompanied by canapes and nibbles. There is an excellent wine list to choose from.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining room. Dinner consists of a 3-course menu, with a choice of two dishes for each course, and is followed by coffee/tea and chocolates.

Location
From the A9 Perth/Inverness:
Take the B847 at Atholl/Calvine, or
the B8019/B846 from Pitlochry.
From Crieff/Stirling:
Take the A826 to Aberfeldy, and
then the B846, forking left after
10 km on the Schiehallion Road.

When Kinloch Rannoch from the East, fork left over the bridge in the square, and fork left again past the Spar shop. The house is tucked away on a right-hand spur road, 1km ahead. (see also clear map on the website).
