 | Lower Granary
Built in the local stone like the other units, the Upper Granary is approached up the old granary steps (there is a handrail and a nightlight), and from its elevated position enjoys the best views over the valley towards the Black Mountains. The airy living room has exposed beams and the skylight over the kitchen section will cool you on sultry days, and you will find a full cooker, microwave and fridge with adjacent dining area. The living area has a colour TV/video player and a radio/cassette CD player, and a three seater sofa converts into a double bed when required.
The bedroom has twin beds, and the shower room with handbasin, heated towel rail and toilet is off the bedroom. Lower Granary is approached from the private car park by a paved path to a cobbled area leading to double french windows. There are two steps from the living area into the bedroom. |

 | Byre Cottage
Converted from the old cowshed, Byre Cottage is level throughout with wide doorways and ample turning space. It is approached with a ramp from the covered carport onto an attractive patio with table and bench seat where you can soak up the sun and watch the many birds enticed to Cwrt-y-Gaer.
While designed for the special needs of disabled people, others find waist high sockets and switches convenient. The bedroom has two single beds, with the shower room adjacent. There is an electronic shower with a seat and there are grab rails around the shower, hand basin and toilet. There is a colour TV/video player and radio/cassette CD player in the living area, which also has a three seater sofa which converts to a double bed when required. The kitchen area has an electric hob, combined microwave and fridge. There are normal work surfaces as well as special pull out low level work areas. |
