The U.S.A. is home to several of the world's most exciting cities, some truly mind-blowing landscapes, a strong sense of regionalism, a trenchant mythology, more history than the country gives itself credit for and, arguably, some of the most approachable natives in the world.

America Holidays, some truly mind-blowing landscapes.

The continental U.S.A. stretches across North America 'from sea to shining sea'. There are three major mountain ranges: the Appalachians in the east, the titanic Rocky Mountains in the west and the Sierra Nevada along the border of Nevada and California.

The United States is a diverse and multicultural nation, home to a wide variety of ideologies, customs and ethnic groups. Mainstream American culture evolved from that of colonial Dutch and English settlers and later became a melting pot of various European cultures. America Holidays, experience a multicultural nation.

The U.S. has over 17,000 identified native plant and tree species, including 5,000 just in California (which is home to the tallest, the most massive, and the oldest trees in the world). With habitats ranging from tropical to arctic, the flora of the U.S. is the most diverse of any country. America Holidays, ranging from tropical to arctic

The climate in the U.S.A. is mostly temperate, with some amazing exceptions. Alaska is an arctic state, while Hawaii , essentially in the middle of the Pacific ocean, and Florida are tropical. The western half of the country is covered by plains and mountains. The Great Plains are dry, flat and grassy turning further west into arid desert with startling outcrops of rock columns and deep canyons.
