 | The idea for this B&B came to me as I myself perceived a need for a tranquil place where to rest from the turmoil of Manhattan life. I needed a place in the country, where I would feel comfortable, where I would be welcomed to stay sitting the whole day in the lounge chair, observe the sky. Not being able to find such a place, I decided to create it for you.
I found this lovely spot not far from the City, in the Hudson Valley, close to Mohonk Preserve and Minnewasaka State Park. It has almost 10 acres, 2 ponds, and lovely old trees. The house is spacious, with 2 decks, balcony, and an outside Jacuzzi. Besides great hiking, there are horse riding possibilities around, great shopping for antiques, golf, and vine trails.
My breakfasts are festive, and I do take requests for special dietary needs.
Massages by a certified massage therapist, Kinesiology and Reiki sessions are available on the premises for an extra fee, and must be ordered in advance. |
We have 6 guest rooms!
FERN - is a large room facing the “lily pond” and the majestic Willow trees. It has a king size bed and great closets. Has a private bathroom.
ROSE - is a room with a queen size bed, facing the front of the house. Has a private bathroom.
LILAC - is a cozy eclectic two single bed room in dreamy colors, looking at a Lilac bush ! A MUST experience in May!!!!!
JASMINE - has one single bed, looking into a yellow- white bush (which I thought was jasmine…).
DAISY- has a queen size bed, and faces the “frog pond” in front. Has a private bathroom.
TULIP - is a large room with a king size bed, balcony with table and chairs, and a wonderful panoramic view of the front and side of the gardens. Has a private bathroom. |  |
 | A full breakfast is served between 8:30 – 10:00 either in our Dining Room, or outside in the garden. This includes juices, fruits, omelet with choice of ingredients, or crapes, breads and sausages. We do ask our guest about their food preferences, and try to accommodate different dietary requirements, as we understand that some of us are vegetarians and others not. Some are allergic to milk, and others to tomatoes…However, we like it healthy and wholesome….though, should we be caught in sinning, it should be worth it !!!
In the afternoon, we serve tea and home made pie or cookies…
On premises our guests have also at their disposal a “dry kitchen” i.e. a fridge, sink, dishes etc. to be able to enjoy the munchies they bring along. Tea and coffee is always available. |

Prices are per day, double occupancy, two nights minimum, and do not include tax. There is a $25- surcharge for a one night stay.
